Take Part

Two ways to fly with us

Whether you are behind the controls or the frequency, there is a role that fits. Everything starts with an application so we can check your experience and get you set up properly.

Pilot

For members who want to fly on the network as a pilot. Follow clearances, taxi to assigned gates and operate your aircraft the way it is meant to be flown.

  • Request taxi and departure clearances
  • Follow published procedures and restrictions
  • Communicate with the assigned controller

Air Traffic Controller

For members who want to control the network. Work a position, issue clearances, sequence traffic and keep the airspace organised for everyone flying.

  • Work Ground, Local, Tower or Approach
  • Issue clearances and taxi instructions
  • Open to accepted pilots only

How We Operate

Organisation that feels natural

A good session should feel calm and predictable. We structure our positions, phraseology and expectations so pilots know what to expect and controllers know what is expected of them.

Structured positions

Ground, Local, Tower and Approach, so responsibility is always clear and traffic is handled in an orderly way.

Standard phraseology

Consistent communication standards keep everyone on the same wavelength, including new members who are still learning.

Respect for everyone

Safety and cooperation come first. Every rule exists to keep sessions enjoyable for the whole community.

Position Ladder

How controllers progress

New controllers start at ground level and work upwards as they become comfortable. Each step adds responsibility.

01

Ground

Taxiing, parking and departure routing. The starting point for every new controller.

02

Local

Departure sequencing and handing traffic off to the next position.

03

Tower

Landing clearances, runway coordination and arrivals within the field.

04

Approach

Managing arriving traffic and sequencing aircraft towards the field.

Standards

A short rulebook that everyone follows

Our rules are deliberately concise. Read them once and you will know exactly what is expected of you in the sky and on the ground.

Fly the rules

Follow ATC instructions, comply with clearances, and never intentionally cause collisions or disrupt the network.

Be authorised

Controllers may only work a position once they are authorised to do so. Pilots must hold a valid pilot application.

No fake ATC

Only authorised controllers may issue instructions. Impersonating an ATC position is not allowed.

Emergency scenarios are not permitted

Simulated emergencies, including MAYDAY and PAN calls, are not allowed on the network. There is no exception to this rule.

Joining

Applying is straightforward

Every application is reviewed by a member of staff. We are not trying to make the process long — we just want to know a little about you.

Read the rules

Familiarise yourself with the rulebook so you know the standards before you apply.

Choose a role

Apply as a pilot, or as an air traffic controller if you are already an accepted pilot.

Submit your application

Fill in the online form for your role on this website.

Get verified

Once approved, verify your Roblox account so we can link your membership.
